Welcome to my flute studio!

You can call me Tori! All are welcome here from ages 5+ and beginner to advanced. I live in Ann Arbor, MI and offer lessons both in person and online for 30 or 60 minutes each. Online lessons are reserved for students 13 and older. 

I focus on fundamental techniques that build off of one another to achieve quality in tone, technique, style, presence, and strength. Repertoire is focused on Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Impressionist, and Contemporary eras of music. The arts convey emotion, it is important to study pieces that you connect with and that will expand your music expertise. Lessons are guided with kindness, trust, and acceptance while altering points of view are celebrated. Accuracy in music is important, but learning how to stay true to yourself in the process will help to create your musical identity as a flute performer, musician, and artist.

I look forward to getting to know each other and working together to achieve your goals as a musician and flute performer. It is never too late to chase after your dreams, or to start something new!
